i'd appreciate it if you make your sig abide by the rules of the downlow. it's too big!!:mad:

i dont think so. i cant tell you how many sigs ive had to change becauseit was a couple bytes too big. if i have to do it, so do you!!

Signatures
A rectangular signature of 550 pixels wide by 100 pixels high, or a rectangular signature of 500 pixels wide by 150 pixels high is the maximum size. Squares, therefore, can only be a maximum of 150x150. Either of these may be accompanied by a maximum of three lines of default sized text. Sigs that do not contain pictures may have up to six lines of default sized text. Animations are also allowed in signatures, but overall file size is limited to a maximum of 150,000 (150kb) bytes.

Size of file: 148.75 KB (152317 bytes)

I never checked that one...the only reason I did this one is because I was curious what mine said compared to Sinton66's.

I've been trying to check the size since you put it up. I get a red x, because it takes too long to load on my Road Runner. Everyone else has to change....so can you. :rolleyes:

Technically, 150KB is equivilent to 153600 bytes ;)

so since 150kb does NOT equal 150,000 bytes...there is an error in the board rules.

Just as where 1 megabyte = 1,048,576 bytes 1kb = 1024 bytes

The limit is 150,000 period. 150kb has been removed.

:hand: 150,000 is what I've always used when judging size, because of the "discrepancy". :p

That's no more unfair than taking advantage of a mistake in wording. The intent was 150,000 bytes from the beginning. And, it wasn't my decision, it was our webmaster's.
