Texas 43 Aggies 30 Halftime
Texas has scored as many in the half as they did in the entire game they lost to the Aggies.

Texas has been alot more active on offense than they were in the last meeting between these two. Not nearly as much standing around.

That was what a rivalry game should be like.

I think aTm got their bid to the dance with this game. Even though they lost, they showed a few good things that the tournament committee loves:
1)underdog--everybody loves/roots for the underdog
2) effort--they never gave up, and fought their way back into the game
3) talent--they beat texas last week by playing hard defense and keeping the score low, and they almost won today by playing Texas' style game.
Even though I'm a huge Texas fan, I hope aTm gets in, and surprises a couple of people along the way.
Great game to watch, or in my case, listen to on the radio.

4 teams from the big 12 will get in
Texas

Kansas
who other than a&m deserves it? only way a&m doesn't get in is if neb. wins the Big 12 tournament.

if SoCarolina wins their tourney... they steal a bid. Kentucky still gets in, and it increases the number of teams from the SEC... A&Ms bid goes bye bye :)

in the southeastern conference kentucky is in 6th place with a 9-7 record. only have 1 quality win since december and that team isn't even ranked anymore.
a&m beat a top 10 team last week. they're in 4th place in their conference with a 10-6 record. a&m deserves it more than kentucky.

That's a whole lot of "what-ifs," and even if all these what-ifs happen A&M still has a pretty good chance of knocking out a lower team.
As of right now, I give A&M a 95% chance of making the tourney. At least 95%.

Way to go Horns! And congratulations to both teams for a great well played game. Both teams deserve to go the the playoffs. The Aggies have been playing very well lately. It would be a shame if they weren't invited.

I agree Phil, and hopefully the selection comittee will obviously see A&M should be invited to the dance.
