Looks like old John has kept himself up pretty well.

Yeah, he really looks fit, and for the first time in many years, he looked happy on stage. I saw him at Cynthia Woods Pavillion four or five years ago, and to me he looked haggered.

I couldn't hardly believe the energy he put into this show.

Is that the pavillion in The Woodlands? My middle son might have sold you beer at that concert :D His fraternity did the beer concessions at concerts in The Woodlands, while he was as SHSU from 98 to 2002

Really cool pictures.... I am envious;)

No this picture is of the concert stage in Reliant Stadium in Houston. I did, however, attend a JF concert at Cynthia Woods about 4 or 5 years ago. But, he couldn't have served me a beer, I don't drink that stuff.:D

Not trying to be personal Sinton, but I bet you have come a long way since that concert in San Francisco.:D

As much as I love CCR and Fogerty, his latest cd "Deja Vu All Over Again" is absolutely terrible. But I'd still go see him in concert if I get a chance. Thanks for the pics, '66!.

Did any of you notice the guitar JF is playing in the first picture on the left below the sign and my daughter? This was during the rendition of "Centerfield", and the guitar is fashioned like a bat. It even has "Louisville Slugger" branded into it.

I'm glad you pointed that out. I probably would have noticed if it hadn't been so close to the picture of your attractive daughter.:D

That is a very awesome looking guitar too by the way.

I read on JF's message board that one of the guitar players with him also used to play with Elvis.

Fogerty's website shows they are planning a summer tour with a surprize guest. Has everybody on the message board guessing who that might be.

Well he did "CMT Crossroads" with Keith Urban a few months back. Might it be him?

By the way, I wonder if this is his new album cover or the previous one, which I am guessing was the orginal cover.

I noticed the song "Keep on Chooglin'" is in caps. That's because it's the best rock/swamp/blues song ever! I would encourage our young members to download legally that song from the album Bayou Country, or buy the CD.

They need to buy the"The Long Road Home" and listen to the rockingest version ever of that song, honest. OMG! it's good.

The previous live version from CCR was on "The Concert" album recorded live in Oakland. That one rocks out too, and is still the long version. The new one is much shorter, but very good.
