Have they hired a new basketball coach yet? Are they going to hire a new trainer to finish out the year?

I have applied for the Gir's basketball position, but have not heard anything. How did they do this past year? Were they young? How many starters will be back?

Ther girls record was around 6-19 and 2-6 in district. It won't get any easier with West Oso coming back. There will be some good returning letterwomen( a soph and a freshman).

I think the sophomore coming back next year as a junior is going to be a real good player next year. Still West Oso will have to be favored in the district but it should be a great fight for the other two playoff spots.

Just wondering...I saw that Tiffany Jones resigned from Beeville after taking that team to the Regional Tournament for the first time ever in basketball. Any chance of her coming back to Sinton?

Her maiden name was Hesseltine. She is married to Refugio coach Matt Jones who also used to coach here.

That is what I heard. I hate for that to happen with baseball, softball and track and tennis still going on.
