What is the cheapest you've ever seen gas? When? Where?

For me $0.77 a gallon in Texarkana summer of 1997(I could be wrong on the year).

Race Trac in Calallen my senior year ('97-'98)... was $.59 for a while. My girlfriend lived there, and I'd gas up everytime I'd go to see her.

Back in late 1997 early 1998, Gas was .52¢ in Bridge City, then 7 years later, it's $2.99 :D Boy was it nice paying below $15.00 for a 26 gallon tank.. Now it costs right at $60.00 @ $2.29

Come on - $0.13/gallon in 1972.

In 1959 or 1960 in White Settlement my best friend's dad owned a station. I remember gas wars then and the lowest I remember is $0.17 / gallon.

Okay, 1972 then. :p I was a kid and didn't pay a lot of attention, but it was as we were driving through Oklahoma. (My main objective at the time was whether or not my brothers were getting across the imaginary line that was drawn in the seat. ;) )

$0.18 a gallon during a price war in Burnet about 1970 - 1971. It ranged .38 to .50 most of the time I was in highschool in the early 70's, but back then I was making $1.00 per hour working part time at the Texaco station.:) $1.00 an hour, 10 hours a day during the summer, man, I was in the chips :D

40 to 50 cents a gallon when I was in high school I could cruse all week on $3.00. In my 64 Plymouth Valiant.

I've never paid too much attention the gas prices back in the day, but I remember getting $2 worth to go "cruising" on the weekends and that was always plenty of gas to find trouble. :D

I can remember in the 50s it was about 15 cents a gallon. I remember when the the Humble Stations starting charging 30 cents a gallon for premium that everyone thought it was awful!
