Corpus Christi Carroll (5A) 4 Sinton 3 :(

The Lady Pirates played a hell of a game and put a nice scare into Carroll last night. The Lady Tigers won in the bottom of the 7th on a screaming line drive with a runner on 2nd.

With each game these girls are improving and gaining confidence in each other!! :thumbsup:

Friday we're headed to Yoakum! :)

I understand Giddings beat La Grange 5-4. Don't know what's up with that.
No disrespect to Giddings, they have a solid, young team, but I didn't expect them to take down LG.

Bellville lost 2-0 to 5A Burleson and 4-3 to 5A Haltom in the Brenham Leadoff tournament February 16-18.
They currently have 9 game winning streak all by shutout (knock on wood).
Current record is 11-2. All wins by shutout. Those six runs are the only ones Bellville has given up in thirteen games.

Yes, the LG/Giddings score is correct. It was one of those nights and my hats off to Giddings for a great effort.
