These are some you may not know about but if you want to watch some funny ones they are excellent. Some of them are at odd hours but you can always record them for later.
1. Mr. Belvedere Goes to College made in 1949 on March 7 (Tuesday) at 8 A.M. on the Fox Movie Channel. It stars Clifton Webb, Shirley Temple (grown up), Tom Drake and Jeff Chandler (in one of his earliest roles). Webb made three great Mr. Belvedere movies and if you have never seen one this one will be a great treat for you.
2. The Beautiful Blond from Bashful Bend with Betty Grable and Cesar Romeo and Rudy Vele made in 1949. It will be on the Fox Channel on March 13 at 6:15 A.M. A very funny movie indeed.
3. Duck Soup with the Marx Brothers on March 11 at 2:30 A.M. on TCM. If you have never heard of the Marx Brothers be prepared to become a fan if you see this movie. Made in 1930s.
4. Ambassador Bill with Will Rogers and Ray Maland. Made in 1931 and will be on Fox Movie Channel on March 10 at 11:00 A.M.
This will give you a chance to see the great humorist of his time in person and it is a treat.
Some of these may be on at times that aren't convenient but the recorders can be used. Be sure to double check the time on your tv guide though. Enjoy!
