All are from Liberty Hill. That's the only individual results listed in our local paper.

Cardenas, 2nd in 110 & 3rd in 300
Underwood, 5th in 110

Danielak, 1st in girls

Sorry that I can't help more.

Snyder results from Canyon Reef Relays this past weekend.

110
Garrett Pinson 14.91

330
Garrett Pinson 42.05

Garrett finished 2nd in both of these events behind a boy from
Borden County named Garrett Thomas. Paper doesn't give his times for these events, it only states that he was a medalist at 1A level state meet last year.

Garrett Thomas ran 14.72 and finished second last year in 1A and 39.77 in the 300 Intermediate hurdles and finished 3rd at state.

That is off the UIL website.

giddings always has had great hurdlers, they bred them it seems like, i love this race, it is so tech-ally sound that it's fun to watch atletes graze over them by inches,
one thing that athletes who plan to run college track "hurdles" is that they move up in the college ranks, i believe it goes from 39in to 42in from the transition from high school to college and it makes a world of a difference.
the UIL needs to do away with the 300m hurdles, the race produces no meaning, they need to implement the 400m hurdles in high school b/c that's what they run in the NCAA's. it's very hard to adjust.
i also believe that they the UIL needs to throw away the 4x200m relay for the males, for example- the 400m race if right before the 400m, and a case for the coaches to consider is what if you have a stud 400m runner, but you need that runner to run on the relay, it doesn't make sense, i would never in my mind take a 48 sec 400m runner and replace him in the relay, no way,
it is nearly an impossible double, but to those who try it good luck,
until next time.............

Thank you Title IX. Girls added pole vault and that gave them one more event. The boys had to be equal so they got to add one. I was hoping for the javelin.

I agree Chief. High School needs to move to the 400 hurdles and the girls need to run 3K in cross country. No 2 mile events in college.
