Whats the story and how did the rest of the tournament go for the Brahmas? All I can figure is that the umpires must have played a huge factor. No other way Bellville could get beaten so badly. Bellville looks to be saving it for the playoffs.

Go red storm

Being a tournament it is possible that the Brahmas ran out of pitching and Wharton had a stud on the bump that shut the hitters down. I seriously doubt that any umpire in the state could create that wide of a margin of victory regardless of how one sided they are. More than likely the Brahmas just got it handed to them by a very good team.

Me either... read the same thing about their playoff loss in basketball last year... maybe not from him (don't remember), but it was the ref's fault...

Oh well, atleast they're untouchable in football next year... that's why no one wanted to schedule them...

It's lonely at the top for Bellville. LOL

Seriously, I watched a baseball double header between Bellville and Giddings week before last. Bellvile run ruled Giddings in first game and almost got run ruled themselves in second game. They're a little light on pitching and that usually comes into play in tournaments.
Exactly as one of the posts said earlier they probably ran out of pitching and may have been playing a superior team to begin with.
They're a fairly young team and will improve as season goes along which is concept behind preseason games and tournaments.
