Video(ing) Question

I am planning on taping some races at the track meet tomorrow and I have a question..... Where is the best place to stand in order to get the best view while I video a relay race? (4 x 100, 4 x 200 and 4 x 400) I've tried several angles/locations etc.... Any suggestions would be appreciated... also.. When taping the 110M Hurdles or 100M dash...... where should I stand? I sure hope the weather cooperates this track meet, the last 2 weekends have been terrible conditions :(

If there are any stands at all, get up as high as you can and in the center. No stands, try to back a pickup in and get in the back.
