I don't want this to be a bummer of a story on a Friday afternoon, but I have to relate this story.
As you may or may not know, the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston is part of the UT System.

This medical facility is one of the best, state of the art facilities in the nation for the treatment of cancer and cancer research.
I won't go into the details here. But just know I have first hand experience with a close relative and this facility.
The treatment and the care that was given there was beyond what I would have imagined.
So, the next time someone says I rag on UT....please note, it is a very good light when I kid anyone from UT. I owe them too much to think otherwise.
