Rice came out and proved that last week's loss to Sweeny was a fluke.

A few stats from this game for those who are interested. Rice outgained Edna 449 to 99 and held Edna's superstar QB to 20 carries for 22 yards. Edna put the ball on the ground 9 times. I am shocked at the way Rice dominated Edna. I expected a much closer contest. This was two teams in a must win game and Rice answered the challenge. Both of these teams still have to face a Needville team who is positioning themselves to make a playoff run of their own. Rice has first crack at them this upcoming week. Hopefully we can avoid the letdown and keep up the momentum from this victory.

Congrats Speckbelly, I was really suprised too, the way that you guys dominated us. I just wish we would try to run our QB up the middle more (Haha)
