Not too terribly bad for travelling. At least we got Center at home. D'Field in D'Field is always tough. Just look at last year. All in all, I think we stepped up with the non-district schedule. There are some good teams there. I'm looking forward to the Tatum game.

Yah, okay... this is just halarious...

Like I said, Bellville could beat Cuero, but Cuero could beat Bellville too as far as I'm concerned... But just don't go expecting people to be afraid of Bellville when they've done nothing to make people afraid of them... you're just basking in this imaginary glory Bellville gained last year...

I honestly just want to see Cuero's schedule up here.... not even sure who we're scrimmaging...

Looks like Wimberley had a difficult time completing their schedule. The game in Houston will be a long drive! I'm sure their new 4 team district had them scrambling for games.

I saw this team defeat WOS and was very impressed with their coaching and play calling.

Yes, had a very hard time finding people to play. Only 4 home games for the second year in a row. The Houston trip and the Waxahacie trip is about the same distance. Approx. 200 miles one way. We should be pretty decent again this year. Thanks for the compliment on the coaches, we think highly of them also.

Those are both great teams, but I think Bellville has easily proven themselves as one of the better 3A teams in the last 5 years. They have won or shared the last 5 district championships. They have one of the top winning percentages during that 5 year span.

Nobody ever said that teams were afraid of Bellville. There were some teams that made tentative plans to schedule Bellville, but had to back out because of scheduling conflicts. The UIL really had teams scrambling for games due to the new realignment (see Wimberley post).

The many posts about teams being afraid of Bellville is getting really old and seems very childish. As a football fan, I treasure the great games between the top teams. I would love to see a game between Cuero and Bellville (not a threat). I was hoping to see a Bellville/Wimberley matchup this season, but the coaches couldn't make their schedules work. I believe that playing a more difficult schedule will make you a better team (see 2003 Atlanta & Marlin). Boy, what a great series Bellville had with the Marlin team! Looking forward to playing LaGrange agian, a team with a very rich tradition.

The players did a great job of executing those plays! Looked like the coaches were always one move ahead of the opposing team.

Do you have a son on the team? I still have the program from the Wimberley/WOS game.

Hell, old and childish? I can take that (though I've only used it twice since the orignal topic about two months ago)...

Just imagine how many more district championships Bellville would have it they had good refs/officials/umps...

BTW, my comments are not directed toword Bellville athletes, their administration, coaches, teachers and the majority of their fan-base (including posters here), it's just towords the ones who accused other teams of "backing out of scheduling Bellville" for competition reasons and the ones who believe Bellville has never lost an athletic competition, the refs lost it for 'em...

I was sitting behind #52's mom. Her son was all over the field. I also remember #32, he was running over anybody that got in his path. :D I was fortunate to sit in front of 2 elderly men that knew quite a bit about their Wimberly team.

My cousin's grandmother was from Wimberly. She was an Eisenhower and I think she ran some kind of boy's club or ranch.

I think it has been more than 2 times. I recently read it on 2 baseball posts, the post about Bellville's schedule and now this post. I think at one time you had it on the bottom of your signature.

I've read many posts complaining about bad refs or poor officiating. I know it sounds like sour grapes, but it does happen in high school sports. I have watched many games and believe me, most fans watch the game through the eyes of their beloved team. Sometimes I laugh at the lack of knowledge and what they think was a poor call. I have trained myself to watch games with an impartial view, and I have seen my share of bad calls.

I believe each person on this board has the right to express his views without being crucified by yourself. I have read other teams complain about officiating, but don't see you getting on them. Do you have some kind of vendetta against Bellville and their posters?? Looks like FormerBellvilleBrahma has been posting for quite some time. He deserves a little respect and has the right to express his views. I enjoy reading his posts, but don't like the childish remarks that follow them. I also enjoy reading most of your posts.

There are a lot of posters who don't get to attend a certain game. If I make a post about that game, I would like to report on what I viewed. If I saw poor officiating, I have the right to put that in my post. You have the right to question my integrity, but that's something you should keep to yourself.

Ahhhh, you are correct, on two baseball threads and then this one... that be three...

And I have changed my signature once in the last year, and it was from my Cuero banner to the one you see now (which doesn't include the Texas flag, I've wondered for a few weeks just where in the heck that picture went)... I have not put Bellville in my signature (Please, do not flatter yourself)...

I see posts regarding bad officiating, but none like I saw with last year's Bellville basketball team and now the umpiring for Bellville baseball...

And just to let you know, 'some' Cuero folks (not all of us) were ragging the refs from the Hutto/Cuero game in the semi's this year and I told them to let it go as well... fair enough, isn't it?

What happened? Cuero scored a touchdown with somewhere over 2 minutes left in the game and it was called back... actually scored two on that drive, the one shoulda been called back, the other shouldn't have been called back... Why didn't I gripe about it? The simple fact that in the last minute of the ball game Hutto's FB/HB whatever it was showed that his heart was as big as Texas and drove like crazy to get Hutto's FG-kicker into range... Plus, I'm sure that Cuero had the positive end of some calls themselves that may have hurt Hutto in the game... the fact is that when the game was on the line, Hutto got the job done and I can't blame the refs and take away those kids' accomplishment...

But even though what happened happened, and I saw it with my own two eyes (and with film back-up), I STILL got on here and told some Cuero folk to stop griping... so if you "don't see me getting on to them", then you just haven't read the thread...

I've never had anything against anyone from Bellville, Bellville is a nice place and that is a nice area with nice folk... Don't flatter yourself in saying I have some vendetta against Bellville and/or its posters... Bellville is a little closer to Cuero than most of the towns that have posters posting about all of their sports, so I'm more likely to read a Bellville thread than I am a, let's say, Lubbock Cooper thread... Not only have I played against Sealy, I have relatives who graduated there, so I know the area and am more interested in what they are doing than most places represented here... I've opened some threads and have responded with my opinions...

And as I've said, I have nothing against the community which to me includes players/coaches etc... I have only responded to certain posters...

I honestly feel deep down that FBB is a good guy, I've enjoyed most of his posts over the years... I feel you are a good guy as well and have enjoyed a lot of your input over the board... However, when I see rediculousness I point it out, and I am sorry that in these two circumstances it is at the expense of the Bellville name...

Maybe FBB was just joking around about teams backing down because of competition... I didn't see the joking part amongst many others so I called "bs" on it and never got any closure to it...

Never got any closure on the basketball officiating last year and have read some about baseball umping, so I'll bring it back up against to see if I get any...

You leave the door open, my butt's comin' in...

Here are some of your posts:

1.Oh well, at least they're untouchable in football next year... that's why no one wanted to schedule them...
2. That'll take a while, no one even wants scrimmage Bellville...
3. Me either... read the same thing about their playoff loss in basketball last year... maybe not from him (don't remember), but it was the ref's fault...
4. Bet no one schedules them in baseball next year...
5. Sealy, they always bring a ball-game... but though they are not what they once were, they do not seem to be scared to play Bellville... crazy they're not in the same district...
Who is actually scared to play Bellville??? anyone??

As you can see, it has been more than 3 posts. I even heard another post about bad officiating and you made a reference toward Bellville. I seached FBB posts and he never posted that teams were afraid or backed down because of competition. The only posts that mention terms "are afraid of Bellville" have Gobbla2001 on them. Please don't implicate that they were posted by FBB or any other Bellville poster.

I don't live in Bellville, but I enjoy going to their games. The people of Bellvile are great people. I have made many new friends during the past several years. Every time I read one of your posts, it gives our readers the wrong impression of these fine people. I have seen the coach reprimand players for celebrating or dancing on the sidelines. They will always substitute freely when playing an inferior team and I have never seen them run up a score.

I'm sure you won't post about bad officiating, because that would make you eat your own words. I would love to hear if a bad call was a difference in winning or losing a game.

I'm not sure why you having a vendetta against Bellville would flatter me? What kind of closure do you need when somebody makes a post on poor officiating? I have read these posts, even had posters from the opposing team agree that it was a bad call. Sometimes people disagree about a certain call. This is one reason we have this forum.

I'm sure readers are getting tired of reading this constant bickering, but I felt I should stand up for Bellville and their posters. Now, let's put this behind us and get ready for some football!!!!

I am glad you stand up for Bellville, that's great... but what has been said has been said (I don't dream this stuff up), I also do not keep count on how many times I say a certain thing so good research and reporting for you...

I say I'm gunna lay this puppy to rest myself... You don't have to tell me twice that there are nice people in Bellville, I have already stated that I have nothing against them ( narrow your search down, actually, it's a few posts up)...

I wish Bellville the best of luck unless they play Cuero, I usually end up pulling for them anyway just because it's a good town, never have rooted against them...

You are refering to teams that are afraid to play Bellville or have backed down because of competition. You are the one who has put this in peoples heads, you are the one that has said this, Bulls-eye has read all post on this subject and has never found anything posted by me or anyother Bellville poster that other teams are afraid to play Bellville, or backed down because of competition! You Gobbla 2001, if you will read the post you will see you and only you have been putting words in peoples mouth.
You said what has been said has been said, and you dont dream this stuff up?
Just remember you were the one that made these remarks, saying someone else said them.
Stop putting words in other peoples mouths, and stop dreaming this stuff up!!!!!!!According to the post , we have searched, you are in a dream. Find it were it was said by a Bellville poster that we have said teams are afraid to play us. or have backed down because of competition,if you searched you will find this is in your post only!!! Once again, you have dreamed this up, because we can not find the way you have said this, in our post!!!!
