A 6??? My 3 year old could have scored a 6. I knew VY wasn't the brightest crayon in the box but a 6 is rediculous. He better take a few practice tests and go try again. Speed kills in a test like that. You can get all of them wrong and just fly through the thing and score higher than a 6.

he may do well in the NFL but he won't be a great qb like all you bandwagon jumpers on here think, just b/c he had one good college season everyone has falling in love with this cat,
he should have stayed in school and got more of the Hippie grammer and style from the Austin community,

You may not end up being the best NFL QB ever, Vince, but I wish you the best and hope you prove everyone wrong...

what did lawerence taylor make on the wonderlic test? he doesn't seem to bright but he had a pretty good football career. once the training camps start, that test is forgotten. if you don't think so, without looking it up, what did the #1 pick in the draft last year make on it?

IMO, this test means very little. If it did, Ryan Leif wouldnt have been the complete washout he was.

IF someone told me that I could be making over a million dollars a year when I finish college (or in this case leave early) if I continued to impress scouts with my athletic skills, and I knew the only way I could continue to impress them was if I passed my classes, I'd damn sure make it happen... wouldn't you???

I've known a few people in my life that have passed all of their classes, yet talk/act a lot worse than Vince Young...

Why is everyone surprised that he passed his classes anyway? The guy wasn't going to school to become a doctor... he took what he could to get those millions he'll soon get...

Vince does have great football savy and that is most important. Did you notice on the winning td against USC how he held the ball and was walking without emotion while others including the mascot were celebrating? He kept his head while some of the others didn't. Some posters on other threads thought he as dumb and didn't know what to do but he knew exactly what he was doing and was in total controll. He didn't want to wish getting a 15 yard penalty on the kickoff for excessive celebration.
A 15 yard penalty would have been very helpful to USC and one big gain like Bush made from the 33 yard line and they would have been in field goal range with a good chance to send the game into overtime. Once again Vince was Vince and saved the day not just on scoring but on avoiding a big penalty.
Way to go Vince. Come on Texans! Draft Vince! You will be glad you did.
