I heard the new coach was Pflugerville Connally's DC. His name might be Wood. Does anyone have details?

His name is Doug Wood. He was DC at Pflugerville Connally and also coached some baseball. It's his first HC job. I wish him luck with the Pickers...he's gonna need it and then some.

They didn't renew his contract...I agree, they were a little better last year, not much but definite improvement. The former coaches name is Claude Bassett...he's now the OC at La Joya and we play them in non district.

A great accomplishment in Robstown.

This guy was the recruiting coordinator up at the University of Kentucky during the Hal Mumme regime. Was fired to try to cover up all those NCAA infractions. Still a great coach and motivator.
