Just saw it on Sportscenter. That was just...great. I don't even know how else to put it. They were guarding him too. He didn't have a totally open shot any time.

With all the things that go wrong in this world, and all the things people gripe about, it's great to read about (and see!) something like this.

After reading those first two stories about the teenager murdering and dismembering another, and the one about the punks breaking into the Burnet schools, this story was a welcome read.

Great, touching story, that kid will always remember that. As great as that is though, I kind of feel bad for the other team, I mean an autistic kid just went for twenty against them, thats definetly a sign that your season isn't going so well...

I was extremely touched by this story. Kudos to the coach for putting him in the game. With that stroke I wonder how he feels about not playing him before now.
Not second guessing the coach at all. I know what a task having a child like this means and I think the coach is a hell of a man for letting him be a part of the team.
I know at Wylie we had a boy with Downs Syndrome that could shoot lights out from behind the arc. It was scary how good he was.

It doesn't surprise me that the kid started hitting his shots like that, kids with autism can often do things that 'normal' people can't do, some are music prodigies, others can do calculus at 10, they are incredible people and if you ever get to spend much time working or being around a kid with autism it will forever remain in your memory. When I'm home from college I always look forward to seeing the autistic child that for years has been part of what makes LH home.

He seems like a good player. I wonder why he didn't get used more.
