#3 Silsbee defeats District 19-5A champ Aldine

#3 ranked Silsbee( soon to be #1 IMO ) defeated 5A Aldine last night in a warm up game, 65-64. Aldine sported one of the top junior postmen in the nation in '6"9 Gary Johnson, a player many think will go straight to the NBA after his senior season next year. He got his points, 26, but Silsbee was actually too deep( amazing that the 3A school was deeper than the 5A school ) and built a 10-12 point lead early and held on late for the win. Aldine was good, but even though it was a one point win, Silsbee was the better team overall.

Hes not good enough to either hes ranked 24 out of the junior class would prolly be a late 2nd rounder.

why would they be ranked #1 now? did 1 and 2 lose?

Sorry but there are not anymore polls so they will stay 3 in TABC behind Glen Rose and Bullard and 2 in Texas hoops behind Bullard. Glen Rose didnt lose and Bullard lost twice to Chapel Hill 62-58 and Fairfield :D by 15.
