Lead Guitarist and lead vocal from Creedence Clearwater Revival. Doing a solo act now with a back-up band. One of the BEST guitarists in the world imo.

I guess I'm 'tweener. I heard and have listened to all of those.
And BTW, Creedance is better than those other guys.

You haven't lived until you've heard Creedence's version of Good Golly Miss Molly. How many guitarists can do a "roll" on a guitar?

Listen children. Go right now and buy "Keep On Chooglin'" from the album "Bayou Country". Or download it legally. Whatever. It's the best.

Wasnt CCR from California? Listening to them you would think they were from the South.

My favorite CCR song:
'Long as I can see the Light'
The vocals are great in this song.

Don't forget "Rolling Down the River" by CCR. Did that long before Tina Turner ever thought about it! John's pickin in that song is really great.

Some of our ages are really showing in regard to this thread.

Fogerty also did the song "Centerfield".
I think that is the name of it. I remember one line of the lyrics was "Put me in Coach, I'm ready to play".

I wish I would have seen him on Austin City Limits.

Fogarty's Centerfield album was done with dubbing. He sang and played every instrument on that album.

I am old. The other day I heard someone say are you going to see CCR at the Houston Rodeo. And I said Creedence Clearwater Revival is coming to the Rodeo? They said no it is Cross Canidian Ragweed. That made me feel old.
