It was reported on another board that Fairfield named David Haynes from McGregor as their new AD\HC.

Any truth to this????

Curious to know what kind of record did David Haynes have at McGregor?

McGregor has been up and down these past few years. 2001 and 2002 were ranked #1 in state before getting knocked out by Corrigan-Camden. Coach Haynes is a great coach. Back in the days I played for Coach Haynes at McGregor. Good luck to him at Fairfield!

just an interesting observation...fairfield board chooses a guy who has went 6-14 after being pretty dang good before over a guy who took a program that was 1-9 and 2-8 and went 12-8 the past two years...you would think you would want a guy who has improved a program...but this is just my opinion

i agree with that but this isnt the first time that the coach has turned around programs...but hey i guess fairfield saw something in Haynes that was more appealing
