As young and talented as they are I think Larry Brown really molded who they are today. They might end up with the best record this year and be the east's representative in the finals, but Brown's experience in coaching will be hard to replace.

i think that they are the equivelent to the colts of the NFL

The Colts don't have any recent titles.
Detroit does. They have owned the Spurs
in their two meetings this year. Dallas did
thump them ending Detroit's 12-0 start to
the season. But, that was the second of
back to back games for the Pistons. Detroit
and Dallas play again in March or April.
The Pistons won't forget the their previous
match-up.
To answer the question. Nobody is in
Detroit's league at this point.
