Anyone have warm-up games set up before the playoffs?

# 5 La Vega vs # 6 Liberty Hill, Saturday, 2:00, at Gatesville H.S.

La Vega is pretty good Fairfield beat them 52-38 (i think) earlier in the year. Fairfield takes on top ranked Bullard in Fairfield at 8. Bullard beat Fairfield by 2 earlier in the year in Bullard. The game before that i believe is Kemp against Mexia.

Rice plays Weimer on friday night at 7 in Weimer. Looks like Weimer could go pretty far in the 2A playoffs, I just watched some film on them.

at least play someone good. It would be good to get a win gong into the playoffs however to boost morale.

This game appears to me like a very well planned "practice game". If you look at the map it is a very neutral location, with 2 teams that need a game. Keep travel expense to a min.

I did not realize that they where that bad! It makes me wonder how they ever made it to the playoffs!

I wouldn't say that Ballinger is that bad....We have been playing our best basketball of the season lately and our last loss against a 3a school was a two point loss to Clyde. They were overated but still a quality program. Ballinger has a 23-7 record.

I haven't seen the score yet, but just read on another board that Liberty Hill won by 1 pt.

Take that, eagles victory. ;)
