There's a total of just under 6400 seats at the stadium (home and visitor combined), plus the standing room crowd. Good luck guessing.

Hmm, let's see, people have to come through atLEAST one gate to get in, tickets have to be redeemed OR bought at atLEAST one gate... People with press passes etc... I'm sure will be jotted down... It's not as hard as it seems...

yes it COULD be, but for 99.54% of high school games its not, and something tells me the Burnet officials will have more on their mind besides counting tickets/people ... too bad its not on TV, i'd sure as heck tape it and watch when i get home from the game i'm going to

Cuero never does official counts, but when #1 Sealy came to town in '99 we knew it was gunna be game so thought it'd be neat to take an official count...

Basically you get a couple of raffle-ticket rolls and give everyone that comes through the gate a raffle ticket NOT to win the raffle, but to be allowed back into the game if they had left...

Count what you have left after the end of the night and subtract it from the origional count...

I believe what we did was took tickets, did a 50 count (confusing as hell to do this) wrapped those 50 in a rubber-band and threw 'em in a box to be counted later...

Got a little confusing for when people would want to leave the stadium, you'd have to give them a ticket back... So basically, you had to know your count at all times....

I can assure you that they know how much money is in the tray when they start and they know how much when they end. I'd say 2 to 3% margin of error.

by the way bertram is home of the oatmeal festival - we got caught in the parade one year
