Okay....my daughter got a puppy 2 weeks ago that she had named "Buddah" when he was only 2 weeks old. (I tried to wake him up for his pic, but he wasn't having any of it). He is half Yorkie and half little black traveling man who broke in the fence!

A week later we inherited his brother who came to us already named "Pepper"....I don't like that name for him. Everyone in the house calls him by a different name. My oldest son, well I won't say what he calls him....and my husband, can't say what he calls him either..lol. Ashton calls him "that other puppy". My oldest son said we could call him Barricuda...and call him "Cuda" for short (Buddah and Cuda....awwwww).

Anyway....any good names out there that would go nicely with "Buddah"??

I tried to wake "the other puppy" for the pictures...but he didn't cooperate either!

RM, either call him "Trigger" or if his eyes really are that blue and that's not the camera, call him "Blue" I had a friend when I lived in Corpus Christi named Blue, he was a really nice kid.

name it Pet-it, then when someone ask you what's its name, you say pet it. they say, i don't want to pet it, i want to know it's name. kind of like who's on first.

Name him Jesus and pronounce it the Spanish way. "Haysoose"
That way you stay with the religious theme.

Scruffy!

It doesn't go with Buddah, but he looks like a "Scruffy". :)

Is he a smart or stupid dog? I'm just trying to decide if Cheif O would fit or not.

We had a deogee years ago. :)

Okay....can't name him "Trigger" cause that's what I called my son's "wee wee" when he was a baby...and no, his eyes aren't blue. (The dogs...not my son's):p

For some reason...goat and buddah just don't seem to mesh well to me.

Lil Bit and Scruffy just sound like pansy names and he is the more aggressive of the two pups.

Haven't decided if he's smart or not....he will not be named after Chief O no matter what.

Already had a deogee before, so that's redundant.

I have just about decided if he doesn't quit crapping all over the house his name is gonna be "Corky" because that's what I am about ready to cram up him!

Off to work.....see yall in about 30 minutes!

Haha.....we had a kitten one time that I knew would end up getting ran over, because all cats that live where I do end up getting hit if they aren't an inside cat.....we just named him "roadkill" from the beginning.

Sure enough, about 6 weeks later that was what he was!

Then it would get shortened to "Blackie" and that is so common.

I am kinda looking at "Buckshot" and "Boondock" too!

Yep, missed that post by AJ.....How about "Dammit" because she is going to be saying "Come here, Dammit" or "Get down, Dammit" a lot anyhow.

My wife used to come up with great pet names---the last puppy she named "Piddleuppy" for "Little Puppy" and we called here "Piddle".

I like Ranger. So what if you have a Ranger Dog, Ranger Horse, Ranger Rebel, and Ranger Mom. It reminds me of George Foreman.

I had a solid black dog one time, we named "Kunta Kinta". But mamma made us call him "Toby".
If your old enough to get the joke, you and I both know this is not politically correct, but I just couldnt help myself.
Sorry! LOL

My alltime favorite bobtail cat was named Buford T. Stubbs. We called him Buford orBuford T. and we addressed him formally as Mr. Stubbs......So....I am kind of partial to Buford. Buford and Buddah...kind of has a new age red neck kind of flair to it!

Came to mind because dogs are always straining against their leash + "mutt". Probably reaching too hard.
