I kinda like the kid. He seriously needs a haircut though. He seems like a good kid though.
I think sasha is 6 or seven years older than him isnt she? Isnt he just 16, and she is 23 I think.
He may be setting his sights a little high. Emily Hughes is on her way there now. I think she is just 16. She might be impressed with his gold medal.

Shaun White is the best snowboarder i've seen in years, not only is he one of the best, hes still got plenty of time to get better!

He'll take gold no doubt.

He'll take gold no doubt. And only 19...imagine all the free stuff he gets from his sponsors too.

"I think it's better to buy real estate than say, a yellow and purple Corvette or an elephant that can speak sign language. My parents help me out a lot with that stuff. They don't want to see me when I'm 30, dead broke, selling bootleg tapes of my snowboard movies on the side of the freeway." -- Olympic gold medalist Shaun White on how he spends his endorsement money

Apparently, he's level headed too...

That is probably what makes him so good. That he is humble and has a decent head on his neck.

For such a young athlete, he sure came through when the pressure was on.
