The 2006 Winter Olympics begins with opening ceremonies in "bella" Torino, Italy tonight. I hope the focus of these Olympics are on the events and do not get mired in world politics or athlete drug use controversies. I hope the U.S. team is a shining example for world athletic competition and brings home many medals for America.
