It'll be a shame if William Hung never gets a lifetime achievement award.

Just wondering. You're big into music, seem to know a lot about it, and you work at HEB. Perfect combo.

U2 was well deserving, there is no arguing that point .. obviously everyone is biased towards their favs or the fav genre, there is no denying that either

HeHeHe!!!:D :D

The Fox phenomenon, which launched Kelly Clarkson's award-winning career, rolled on, and rolled over, the 48th Annual Grammy Awards on CBS, helping drop the latter to its worst ratings since 1995.

In the battle of the belters from 8-9 p.m., Idol boasted an estimated 28.3 million viewers, compared to the Grammys' 15.1 million.

Overall, the Grammys averaged 17.6 million from 8-11 p.m. (The show actually ran until about 11:30 p.m., but the full numbers weren't yet reported.) As it stands, the show was down about 6 percent from last year's telecast, which aired on Sunday night, and itself got hammered by ABC's Desperate Housewives. Add all it together, and the Grammys' TV fan base has now contracted by 33 percent in just two years.

In addition to American Idol, this year's Grammy show had to contend with Lost, which found 18.8 million viewers in the 9-10 p.m. slot for ABC. The Grammys did, however, manage to win the hour.
