Ballinger crushed the #9 2A team tonight. They scored in almost every phase of the game. Running, Passing, interception return and returned a punt to the 2 yard line. Posey rushed for well over 100 yards. Bangs had a very good running back (Jacoby Jones) who rushed for 2400 yards last year...he was greased lightening. He was their only spark other than a big fullback. I wish we could have done a better job in containing him. After a narrow loss to Comanche I had a feeling that Bangs was over rated this year and my feeling was confirmed. Ballinger will have a much much tougher test with Merkel next week. They beat Clyde 35 to 6 and look to be rolling. They will be fired up to play the Bearcats.

Ditto for the Rangers!!! I had a feeling that you guys would win big. Those mistakes will get ironed out. The offense that the Rangers run requires alot of pitching and that can sometimes mean fumbles early in the season. Sweetwater looks tough as does Andrews. You guys are going to be battle tested the next few weeks. It will only make you stronger!!
