Congratulations to you both. Remember that marriage is about love, trust, patience, understanding, not leaving the toilet seat up, remembering to keep the thermostat at a reasonable temperature, not running yellow lights, always drinking milk from a cup and not the gallon itself, and most importantly it is about sharing the tv remote. If you guys can do these things, and a couple of other things that I failed to mention, then things should be great. Have fun. :D

Share the remote! Are you out of your mind? All that will do is have you watching QVC while you're trying to go to sleep!.;)

First off... good luck. Hope that y'all have a long lasting marriage.
Second.... dang! Why get hitched up at 18? There's a lot of livin' to do when you're only 18.

Congratulations Krystal...I wish you nothing but the best.

I hope you are putting alot of thought into this decision and what you want your future to be. Life has alot to offer ... just make sure you are stepping off in the right direction. Don't be afraid to put the brakes on if you are uncertain. Good luck!:)

Thats what I've told my boys, get your degree, experience a little life, get established in your proffession then get married. I tell them that they have the rest of their lives to be married and that there's a whole lot of growing to do between 18 and 25 or 30. But whether or not they take my advice is yet to be seen. What ever their decision, I will love and support them and the one they choose to make their life with :) :)

What's the rush? That's what I keep telling me son who will only be 20 in May, and asked his GF to marry him and they are now engaged. :( but I did promise myself when they do get married I won't be a Marie (EVerybody Loves Raymond) type of mom-in-law. :D

But since it's decided already, best wishes to you Krystal and to your fiancé.

Love is long-suffering and kind. Love is not jealous, it does not brag, does not get puffed up, does not behave indecently, does not look for its own interests, does not become provoked. It does not keep account of the injury. It does not rejoice over unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. 1 Cor 13:4-8

I agree!

I married too young the first time (I was no where near mature enough, but had to grow up real fast 9 months later and turn into "mommy").......but I got it right the second go around!!

Acutually I was 20 years old, which is one reason why, I can't really say much about him getting married young. BUT, I can always try and use "Your dad was 25 years old".:D Maybe that will work.

Congrats!!! After 21 years of marriage, my advice for you and your fiance is to use the three C's:

Care about eachother EVERYDAY.
Compromise over even little things.
COMMUNICATE!!! I can't stress this one enough.

What? Do you want to marry a man? Thats a little extreme I'd say. At least, make sure he can cook.
