Heard a rumor that Johnston was petioning to return to 4a. anybody heard this or know of anybody there?

The Liberty Hill HS website DOESN'T list them as a District opponent just yet. What do they know that we don't know?? Hummmm?? LHPM can you answer this??

If Johnston is no longer on the district schedule that could create a real predistrict scheduling problem for the rest of the district especially for the Big Four (Taylor, Hutto, LH, and Yoe).

I know the UIL allows "opting" up, but doesn't that need to be done before the realignment process? If that's the case, then they would've stayed in 4a. It they are allowed to opt up after the fact, that will mean a 9 team district for 17-4a (the 6 Austin schools already in, Manor & Elgin). :thinking:

According to the UIL website that was updated TODAY,Austin Johnston is NO longer listed as a member of District 18-3A!! They are no where to found just yet. Not even in 4A!!! WOW!!! What's going on????

The "word" I got is there was a "miscount" on the number of students. I have absolutely NO clue how you miscount almost 250 kids. :rolleyes: :rolleyes: They will be moved into 17-4a.

So......anybody need an extra game? :D
