I'd bet it was cause the nearest 2As are hundreds of miles away ... same reason Zapata went to 4A but had to opt up to 5A cause the nearest 4As were too far away

For the 2nd realignment in a row Iowa Park inherits the largest school in 3A. Last time it was WF Hirschi at 899, this time around it is Burkburnett at 948.5. Hopefully the Bulldogs will just as successful as the Huskies were. Hirschi went 0 - 20 in their first 2 seasons as a 3A. :D

no no no - about 4 alignments ago they went from 3A to 4A, it was THEN they opted for 5A where they were in the district with the Laredo schools
