What are the stipulations for this and does the price ever change after 6 months?

You have to have SBC phone service. I have had it for almost a year. I signed up when it was $19.95. It regulary goes for $49.95. I havent been notified of a price increase yet. But I bet they will try to increase it.

We do have service through SBC and I checked it up at att.com/1499 and it said that it's $12.99 w/ a 1 year term. I'm trying to talk my mom into it but she won't go for it. Would it be worth it to get it?

It works great but I had dialup before that cost twice as much!

Yea we got the SBC Dial up that cost like 9 bucks but my mom won't buy into the DSL stuff cause she thinks the price will go up and I don't know how to explain to her that it's won't.

I've had it 3 years now, but I pay $ 24.99 a month. I'm going to call SBC about the $ 14.99 deal though.

Eventually the price will go up as much as the market allows. But the speed compared to dialup is worth it.

I had DSL for 3 years.......I have Cable now,

I would strongly reccomend DSL, cause it's solid and there's no fluctuations in the bandwidth and much harder to hack into


the $$ is worth it, what i pay for cable now in a bundle discount is not really worth it......but it ends up being all i can do for my area

I've had DSL for about 3 yrs and I pay 14.99, the price hasn't went up yet.
