Have 9 out of 10 games so far. Still don't have a 6th non-district game though, but here's what we have so far.

Week 0 - Edcouch-Elsa (32-4A) That's the ONLY date that is confirmed.
Raymondville - 31-3A
Zapata - 31-3A
Pharr Valley View - 32-4A
C.C. West Oso - 30-3A

District Games
Progreso
Hidalgo
La Feria
Rio Hondo

I hope we get 10 games, we just need a 6th non-district opponent. Any takers in Region IV wanna play the Tarpons? Call Monty Stumbaugh. Lyford, our old 32-3A running mates, now in 31-3A refused to play against Port Isabel for reasons unknown, that's why P.I. is scrambling trying to find a 6th non-district game.

Looks like a tough schedule again for the Tarpons.

What were Valley Views enrollment numbers? That place is really growing.

Ya'll should play Ingleside. That would be a great game.

I don't recall their exact # but I think they (Pharr Valley View) turned in somewhere between 960-975. I know they're going to be one of the smallest 4A schools in the state, though. They were one of those teams "on the bubble" that could have gone either way.

As far as PI playing Ingleside, I think that'd be a good non-district game for Port Isabel. We usually got our taste of "The Spread" in non-district against Los Fresnos, but now that we are no longer playing them I would love to see a "Spread" team on the non-district schedule such as Ingleside.

Have your coach call Monty Stumbaugh down at Port Isabel. P.I. will take on any 3A or 4A team.

Yes Ingleside would be great, also, Sinton, and Aransas Pass.

Beaumont Kelly is a private school from what I understand.

I know the big school that's there is Beaumont Ozen, a lot of athletes go there. I know there's other schools in Beaumont, I just forget their names. I'll look them up later, but I'm pretty sure Beaumont Kelly is a TAPPS 4A or 5A, like Brownsville St. Joseph.
