I think I remember that last year, the local press talked about a match-up between Everman and Kennedale since they are next door neighbors. You asked for it....you got it !!!! Friday night in Kennedale, it will be the battle of the running backs. Kennedale may be outmatched but they will put up a fight. It will be a good experience and confidence builder for the playoffs. Get there early. The stadium is only 3 years old but limited on seating for large crowds.

I think Kennedale has a real good team that will face Bridgeport for the Reg.1 championship in Div.2.But on the other hand I don't think they can hang with the big boys of Div.1.
Everman 47 Kennedale 20

I dunno about Kennedale being outmatched...when you go 12-2 and have a ton of people back you are hardly outmatched...Kennedale should be 3-0...they have some excellent skill people...it'll be a test for the Everman D..they will have starting Defensive Tackle Brandon Darden back for this one...but that just adds to the depth as sophmore Tackle Jontae Bragg has gotten extensive playing time the last 2 games after being on JV for the first game..look for him to be in the rotation at DT now permanently...Everman played well against a good Crowley team....the score was 33-7 but it coulda been a lot worse..can't wait til Friday..hope it'll be the start of a good rivalry

I dont see how you say Kennedale should be
3-0. Crandall got a very good win over them. Kennedale is good but I dont see them beating Everman but who knows, anything can happen.

I knew it would sound like I am not giving Crandall credit...LOL Kennedale was their own worst enemy against Crandall..they made way too many mistakes...but hey good teams capitalize so give credit to Crandall...I just think Kennedale is a little better than Crandall..

Should be a great game. Kennedale has rolled up over 500 yards last two games. Should be a good test for our D.

Best of luck for an injury free game to both teams, and I'll pick Everman to win. And welcome to the board Bulldog65.

Thanks Sinton66, I sent a question on another topic, but am big fan of yours. Read these all the time but just started to post. I am trying to find a good online source for Sinton games, is the Caller Times the best?

Bulldog65......does your name imply a graduate of 1965 from Everman?

Hey there bleedgreen, no, that is my son's number for the bulldogs. He is a senior this year and we have been having a lot of fun watching him play.

Kennendale has a good up and coming ball club, but are still no match for Everman (yet). Sorry but I have to go with Everman 42-14.

this is the way we ball

Everman has too much depth. Kennedale has way to many people playing both ways, but since everyone is picking Everman, Not because they have actually seen them play this year but because they are number 1 in the polls, I'm going to go with the upset. Kennedale in O.T. 38-35

Bulldog65, I'll watch for your son during the game. I'm an Everman '65 grad but my loyalties belong to Kennedale. Good luck and get to the game early. I heard they are hiring extra police for the large crowd. I know the Cats have awesome depth at running back and skill postions and I'm really surprised our kickoffs are going into the end zone....but I think as the game wears on, our line size is going to catch up with us. Maybe our guys will be so pumped up, they'll sacrifice their bodies but what good is a broken body out for season. Tell your guys to put their running shoes on. I think it will be a high scoring game. I hope the Dogs go all the way again for your son's sake.

I've heard alot about these two teams and they both have a lot of ability, and will go far into the playoffs and maybe even win a state championship. Kennedale has many expierenced players returning after a great year last year with a young football team, but evermen has much more than that going for them. I predict evermen over kennedale at least by 10.

Hey bleedgreen, thanks for the info. You mentioned the one thing that worry's me.... the kicking game. We just have not been as sharp. We still have dangerous return men(Harrell), but we gave Lawton Ike 21 pts in 38 seconds or something like that. If we continue to make mistakes like that we could be in for a long night. But I will say something about our boy's. Whoever they play needs to be ready to play ALL 4 quarters! I don't know if it's Coach Keeling making adjustments at halftime or what, but they don't ever feel like they are out of a game. Good luck and like 66 say's I hope it's injury free for both sides.
