Every team was a playoff team last season, except Bowie, and Bridgeport, Gainesville, and Argyle all went 3 rounds deep or better.

Yeah, thats a good district! Argyl may find out that 3A is a whole different ballgame than 2A though.

Ahh, yes. So Gainesville has to make that trek down old Highway 51 to Decatur and Bridgeport again.

Those were some fun rivals.

It's going to be a great district, KTJ---don't think anybody is going to be "bored"---lots of good programs.

Toughest in State? I think you could make the case. And one playoff team may face a first round game against Abilene Wyle or Sweetwater out of 7-3A.

Wow.

This is gonna be a good year in district. Oh, where exactly is Argyle at? It sounds like a town that would be arounf Gainesville to me. Other than that, I really like the drives to the other towns. Smooth sailin:)

Argyle is a fast, fast, fast growing community just south of Denton and west of the Lake Dallas/Hickory Creek area.

And that's something that Decatur and Gainesville have in common--we both hate Sanger.

Argyle ran the spread last year and racked up a bunch of offense. Didn't they go three rounds deep in the playoffs?

I am sure they will be competitive.

ps - Sanger is 10 minutes north of denton.

I could have sworn that Argyle went to State but lost to Newton
