Well, if district is tougher, let's hear it! This district will have to be among the toughest. At least, Jasper and WOS won't have so much trouble finding teams willing to play them for those extra games.

Maybe Barbers Hill will schedule them now! :D

I knew we would hear from you! :D District 18 is a very tough district. But anyway you slice it, half of your district will make the playoffs in every sport. Five teams will have to stay home in District 21 and some of those schools traditionally have very strong teams.

It is almost de javu all over again for SE Texas. Years ago in 4a the UIL would bunch so many SE Texas teams together that they had to play zones and only one team advanced. Finally changed to two. Most of the rest of the state had reasonably sized districts. One year they had 14 teams in that one district and it stretched all the way from Jasper to Galena Park and Channelview! If you don't know your SE Texas geography those schools are about 150 miles apart. It looks like it is starting all over again.

And congratulations to Liberty Hill. :D You get to run with the Region III pack now. That finally just came through to me.

CRAP! We can't win for losing. We no longer get lumped into the "weak region 4" blah blah blah, but we now get stuck with "beat each other up in the playoffs" story. ;)

Well for sure it is curious why they would move LH out of Region IV leaving part of their old district with only FOUR teams to put you in a region which already had many more teams. Makes one wonder if someone at the UIL was smoking rope or something. Think about it, a four team district. Only one team stays home in each sport. As if Wimberly and Bandera needed help to make the playoffs.

I can't take any more! I think I will go for a bike ride! :D

LMFAO

4 team districts...

gimme a break. Do they have to play each other twice? how else do you schedule games.

Its got to be a good feeling to win your first district game and know you made the playoffs... LOL

Will miss all the trash talk from BH next year! Wouldn't it have been a hoot if BH hadn't made it to 4a, and was in 21 3a? With BH in the mix (it never would have happened though) I'll bet you could have reverted back to the ole stealing the opponents mascot days. It would have been heated!
