I have Castleberry in 10-3A with Diamond Hill, Lake Worth, Kennedale, Dallas Madison and Carrollton Ranchview....I think the boys in River Oaks could play for third if this loop happens

Really? Things you have no control over shouldn't bother you.

I played golf with a coach this weekend and this morning he will be at the regional office with a phone and his head coach will be at his desk with his office phone and 2 cell phones, one of which will only be for communication with the coach at the regional office. It is like an undercover government operation.

Or to anyone who has scheduled pre-season games, to now find out one of those teams is in their district.

Here is an interesting paragraph that I found on the UIL webpage about realignment.

Please review Section 356 of the UIL Constitution and Contest Rules. A school may be disqualified for district honors for up to two years in the sport for contracting with other Texas schools prior to the finalization of the reclassification and realignment by all University Interscholastic League appeal committees.

If I am reading this correctly, no schedules (even non district) could be finalized until after today. If that is right, head coaches and/or ADs will be jumping through their butts for next few days.

it is correct but coaches are still on the phone prior today to set things up. They just cannot finalize the contracts until after today

What does everyone think of the possibility of the Little Southwest Conference being broken up? I know some of the coaches realize that this might be the year. Send the midland and odessa schools north and the abilene schools east with weatherford etc. They said angelo could end up in a cen tex district. Pure speculation but would be wild to see it broken up. Of course Angelo has been in with Amarillo and Lubbock for four years now.

If cooper drops to 4A, I think they will break it up.
