This team's defense is probably the best in the past 3 seasons. They are very hard on the opposing QB and ball carrier up the middle or to the outside. After losing great DBs like (Seth) Anderle and Newton many questioned if these new kids would be able to step up to the plate and get the job done. Well they have certainly done that as the LG pass coverage has been outstanding in the 6 games since the Yoakum disappointing openner. This to me is evidence of great coaching and credit must be given Coaches Sportz and Couthern for developing talent like they have done here. Way to go Leps, now just stay focused and get ready for a determined Giddings team next week. :D
