May 2001. How much fun was it watching baseball at Holleman Field? The "Left Field Crew". We had a blast!!! Humphreys!! Many good memories of that place.

I hear they've added a couple of new parking garages too.

I know parking was a pain, but all you can come up with is new parking garages. There's gotta be better memories for you, than new parking garages. What about football games at Bowers? Rmember when we played Northwestern on national TV. Keith Davis, now a Dallas Cowboy, blasted their running back, ending his day. BEARKATS win on TV.
Or what about basketball at Johnson Coliseum? Boney Watson attacking the lane and making the finger roll with no time left to win the first round of the conference tournament. The crowd went crazy and rushed the floor. It was a sea of orange. Those are memories!!

Easy there brother, I was just letting you know I went to school there. Isn't that what your post asked? If you want memories I remember all the brawls with SFA during and after football games.

I remember lots of chicks in that crazy Appreciation of Music class we had to take where we had to play some little whistle instrument that resembed a clarinett. I was always so embarrassed about that that I always hid it in my back pack.

While I am not an alum, I feel like I am sorta since I (we) paid for 5 years for an education there lol....... I remember hearing stories of the FOX, Humphreys and there was another place but I don't remember the name of it.. Buddha requested we all go there after he graduated.. WE had 5 generations playing pool and eating outside on the deck...... This place was down the street from the book store - do you remember the name of it? I think Humphrey's was the place Buddha had his "acrobat accident" and ended up having pins put in this foot and missing a semester of school

1975 Huntsville was dry then and we had to drive to New Waverly to Joe's, The Joint, and Parades and Borski's every Thursday night.

I went to the Fox during a recruiting trip and when we were leaving a bunch of the football players got into a fight and got arrested. It was awesome!

As I sit here at my desk and look out the window at the brown West Texas dirt I recall many days sitting in the University Hotel (I lived there it seemed) looking out the window and seeing nothing but big green trees on rolling hills.

What a great University.

44inarow, Iwas there for buddha's acrobat show. It was funny. Humphrey's was the best. Heard it is going downhill now.
