Yea my bad.

Directions for the chief:

1. Dig hole, approximately 7 feet deep, just to be safe.
2. Jump in.
3. Tell _______ to go ahead and dump the excess dirt back in.
4. Enjoy

Not to be a super homer, but Beasley at WO-S gains 2,000 passing and more than 1,500 rushing with 47 total TDs and he doesn't even get an honorable mention? He was Campbell's 3A player of the year and was a star in the Army All-American game!

Yeah what a joke..

No Jasper kid on any team that I saw either. Weatherspoon at LB not being metion is sad.

Must not be any sports writers in S.E. Texas.

I'm no homer , but saw him play twice and the young man has the tools to go far.

One of the Cameron kids was on two All State teams and didn't make first team all district. He was a good player and important to the team but to not make all district says something about what the teams that played against him think.

Maybe, but at least they're voted on by those who have actually seen them play.

I think a lot of it goes with him being considered a "utility/athlete" type player and that is why you don't see him listed. Same goes for Gary Edwards of Wylie. Not that I expected Edwards to be 1st team by any means...but if they had a utility award he would at least get an honorable mention.

I went head up against the 1ST and 2nd team centers and maybe they are good enough to be 1st and 2nd but then I should be somewhere around one of those teams

I think we're missing the important picture here, people...

Our very own CHUBBED_UP is FIRST TEAM ALL STATE at the TE position...

Was 2nd team all state last year as DEFENSIVE end, as well as honorable mention all-state TE... and he's playing LB in college...

Watch out, this kid will be throwin' bombs and avoiding sacks come NFL time if his pattern continues...

Okay, had to give a shout-out to chubbed_up...

ANYWAY... Did Chief_OhDumbass just moan again? Guy needs to get laid (So do I, but I do not take out my sexual frusterations on an internet message board public)...

Chubbed_up was 1st team Tight end and 1st team Lineman. Pretty impressive indeed

Still don't understand the omission of several players (no, not just from Cuero either) but congrats to those that did make the list :)

i vote for tswa all-state teams and although i don't agree with all the final results, i would like to make it clear that some omissions come when a coach fails to nominate players. so if your favorite player isn't on the list, maybe it wasn't because he didn't get enough votes but instead because he wasn't even on the ballot.
