So that these don't bog down loading up the "Places I want to go IN Texas" thread...I'll just put my pics over here.

#5...it's a par 3 from Winged foot (#10)
http://x9b.xanga.com/f1484a4246c329951308/b7521787.jpg

#6...it's a LONG par 5...#10 at Medinah. This is me trying to play a low cut and get the ball past the bunker on the left to where the fairway opens up...I promise my swing isn't that bad! http://x07.xanga.com/1b484543284329951357/b7521824.jpg

If you can't figure out what hole the next 4 pictures are...then you don't play golf much. Anyways...it's #9 on this course.

This is one of the many lavish houses on the course. This one is to the left of the tee box on #11...which is a recreation of #12 at Southern Hills

Beware of this dog!!! This picture is from about 200 yards away cuz I didn't want to get any closer. The dog was over 10 ft tall when he stood up on his hind legs. BTW he lives in a house about 350 yards out on #14...a recreation of the 620 yd par 5 from Firestone #16.

#16 @ Tour 18...the start of Amen Corner. This picture still doesn't do justice to just how much of a blind tee shot you really have on #11 @ Augusta National.

Three pictures from #18...#12 @ Augusta National.

Another ridiculous house...

Wow, now that looks like alot of fun. I might shoot a 100 or worse the first time or two around, but it wouldnt matter. It looks like alot of fun to me.
Thanks for posting the pictures Adidas410s. Now I just want to go that much more. Which Tour 18 course were these taken at? How much did it cost to play?

Stang, those were at Flower Mound/Lewisville. If you during peak season, it will cost about $100.00, worth it for sure one time. But if you will check during off season and go during the week you can find rates of $29.00,m $59.00 and $79.00 depending on the day.

Yes I would recommend it. Just beware of the greens and their divots as I pointed out. They still roll very well and the speed...WOW!!!

First time that I played it...I shot 95 from the "pro tees." That was ROUGH!!! The other two times I have played from the next to back tees and shot 87 and 84 I believe. It may have been 88 and 84...I don't remember the first of those two scores exactly. I played it during a weekday the first time for about $35 and the second time on a weekend for about $55. Go during the summer...it's a lot cheaper!

Cool. Those prices are bad at all. I think I'll have to make that trip this summer.

The best golf bargain in the state is at Sugar Tree. Everyone needs to go check it out sometime.
