Last time I looked at it Vince Young was winning 54 to 46.

If there were an equally impressive button, I would push that. But since there isnt, I would have to go with VY. His performance was for the national championship. Kobe's was just done in a regular season game. Now if it were game 7 of the championship series, I might would vote for Kobe.

I hate Kobe...

It's all about Timmy D and King James

I don't care when it was 81 points in a basketball game is pretty dang impressive. I don't think I could score 81 with no one guarding me.

When Kobe wins a title without Shaq then I'll be impressed.

right on. Kobe's 81 is more impressive to me than Wilt's 100. with athletes abilities these days, 81 pts in a game is phenomenal. (by the way, i can't stand Kobe) That being said, comparing Kobe and Vince's acheivements are like apples and oranges. both incredible efforts, but definately should not be measured against each other.

I give a slight edge to VY. Kobe had an incredible, individual performance with the 81 points but VY's performance was as equally impressive. I give VY the edge because his was in a championship game.

Kobe is a typical me-first athlete. If he was about Championships instead of individual accomplishments then Shaq would still be in LA.

Its Kobe. He is only the SECOND person to do this. How many people have had GREAT Rose Bowl games. I guarantee it, many have. 81 points doesnt happen often. As much as i dislike Kobe, what he did sunday night was simply amazing. We all need to recall that this was the same Raptors team that held him to a season low 11 points only a month ago.

I'm guessing the results of the poll would be different in Cali.

I doubt VY would get a single vote in california. If for no other reason, for just pure spite.
