Early Sunday morning two Luling High School students
were involved in auto accident near Hallettsville.
One student, Fanessa Sayles(sophomore) was killed.
The other student, Sabrina Pearson(sophomore) suffered
a broken neck, arm and leg and has a collapsed lung.
Sabrina is reported to have felling in all
extremities.
Fanessa was a second team all district 26AAA
volleyball player for the region champion Lady Eagles.
Sabrina played on the junior varsity volleyball team.
There will be a visitation tomorrow at the Luling
Civic Center from 6-8 pm. The funeral service will be
Wednesday at 2pm also at the Civic Center.
Please keep these two students, their families and
everyone in Luling in your thoughts and prayers.

I hope the surviving girl recovers and the i hope the other family can recover from this loss.

This is just awful! Their parents have to be devestated. As a parent, I dont how you could survive after loosing a child. The pain would have to be unimaginable. My thoughts and prayers are with them.

Seems like the community of Luling gets hit hard with tragedy alot.... Very sad... families are in my prayers

The accident happened just right down the road from my house.
Thoughts and prayers are with both families at this time and all the friends these two girls have.
My question is, what were these two young girls doing on the road so late at night so far from home?
