i heard that celina tried to schedule SLC but SLC was to scared that they would lose to a smaller school so they declined the invitation

That's not what i heard. I heard that SLC practice schedule was alerady full that week.;)

I seriously doubt celina offered to play SLC. 2A and 5A are a BIG difference.

I'm not sure, but I dont think the UIL would even allow it.
Even if they did, what would be the upside for SLC? They would be in a loose loose situation, no matter what happened. Think about it. If you were a 5A head coach, would you play a 2A or 3A team? You would be a fool, if you did.

evidently most people here don't understand celina. they play weak non-district games to pad their stats. when you question them about their weak schedule, all they can say is that everyone is afraid to play them.

This will not be much of a game. Evangel is not what they used to be, and SLC is BETTER than Evangel used to be.
