Try holding up a picture of your D drive to your monitor. With any luck, maybe the computer will recognize it. \:D

nmmmm try uninstalling the drivers and then restarting the computer it should re load them and it should recognize the dirve!

1. Rebooting

2. Go to control panel and install new hardware and see if it detects it.

That's where I'd start.
