good stuff! last year gilmer had 3 that went d-1 (OU, K-State, and Mississippi State). It makes saturdays that much more fun seeing guys from your high school on TV playin ball.

I'm surprised Everman doesn't put out 2-3 Div I players every year. The 02 team that Burnet played was SO DEEP with athletes it was amazing. They beat the best Burnet team ever, which had 7 Div I players on the field that night. A few were gimpy but playing none the less. I haven't seen a team as loaded with athletes as that 02 Everman team in the 4A ranks. They were stacked!:eek:

usually Everman has 2-3 D1 players and a TON that go 1-AA and JUCO.......last year they had 2 go D-1..


#77 for Everman is Marcus Clark...a junior DE/FB.....he was #5 early in the year but with injuries on the O-Line he gave up his FB spot to help out at tackle.....and if the name is familiar he is the little brother of former star Nick Clark....IMO he's just as good if not better
