It was called The Quiet American with Michael Cane and Brandon Frashier made in 2002. It was set in Viet Nam in 1952 when the French had control of the country. It was originally made in 1957 with Audie Murphy but of course this movie had more historical knowledge. This remake is excellent and I am sure you wil enjoy it but it is very violent so be warned. It is set at a very unpleasant time in Viet Nam history.
