Rounds 5-7, WR, will never start in the NFL

round 5-7 QB...his performance last year is enough to show somebody that he CAN sit in the pocket and throw it...the question is WILL he?

Same here. I also think he will not be a receiver but rather a Corner.

i think he'll be drafted but only in the late rounds. he's gonna be the new version of Tony Manderich, all show and no go. he will impress the scouts with his speed at the combine, then flop when he gets into a training camp. his best chances are NFL Europe or the CFL.

Wow, don't place any bets on this because you would lose bigtime...

He's gonna play Quarterback and will go in the 2nd or 3rd Round..

That might be gettin your hopes up just a little. He's got a couple of options as far as positioning, but i don't think he'll be an early rounder, probably a late round steal.

Reggie is a good Qback. VY wouldn't be very successful if you surround him with the same players as Reggie had.

My guess is rds 3-5.

First of all, I am not an aggie fan. Just wanted to clear that up.

I just think that McNeal is a good athlete and 1 player can only do so much. This year A&M lost many starters to injuries and if you look at A&M's 2 deep depth chart on offense and defense UT only offered scholarships to 2 of these players. I read this in the Austin American Statesman earlier this year. A&M's coaching and talent is not too good right now.

i won't deny that he's a good athlete. he just didn't show much leadership skills this year when his team really needed it.

Exactly, all the injuries, and the lack of some skill at the WR position added up. Reggie made alot of good strong passes this year just to have his WR drop the ball or tip it up in the air so a waiting DB could easily pick it. When he gets to the NFL were WR are used to catching hard passes like he throws he'll have alot better stats. Everyone started talking trash about him, but they didnt pay attention to his performance as opposed to his WR.

Reggie is only as good as his team...which is not very good.

your exactly right, but tell about his leadership abilities. didn't see him on the sidelines trying to motivate his team mates when things were going bad.

I heard a person say today that Reggie will have more success in the NFL than Vince!

I agree with you. He didn't try very hard to motivate the other players as he should have.

I think Reggie has the ability to make something of himself in the NFL. As a quarterback, though, I just don't know.

I see him in the 3rd or 4th round, probably to Pittsburgh. They love drafting athletes and finding them a spot. Kordell Stewart was all over the place his first couple of years, and now Randle-El (sp?) is a huge threat at receiver, though he played QB at Indiana.

Just my opinion though.

My thinking is this. If you swapped RM for VY, UT wouldn't have won the national championship and A&M probably wouldn't have won 1 or 2 more games than they did.
Vince is a tremendous athelete but couldn't have helped this years aggies very much. IMO

VY is a uniter.
Reggie is a divider.

It's that simple.

I think Reggie will impress at the combines. The GMs get all excited each year with guy's measurables. Reggie will run a sub 4.4 40 and show off his strong arm and somebody will fall in love with him. He's got the tools to be a good NFL QB. The question will be if he has the intangibles.

I say round 3.

I just can't help but think that once these guys see him at the combine, he will be a hot commodity. He has great arm strength and amazing speed. I can imagine some of these GMs getting really stary eyed.

You know these pro guys have big egos. I'm sure several of them with think they can teach him all he needs to know about being a QB in the NFL.

To be honest, i dont think the line was the problem. Yes, they were young and need more experience but considering everything they did a pretty good job in my opinion!

the line was the strength of the aggies weak football team. i will support the aggies all the way but i wont be stupid and say that RM is better than VY because although on the track and in practice reggie MIGHT be better(most likely not)when it comes down to the game situation vince can lead a team like no other. but hands down, A&M has the best center in college football, none other than the great CODY WALLACE

I though they (A&M line) did a decent job against Texas - The difference, as I have been led to believe by someone who is supposed to know, is that the first impression RM makes on you is either love or hate, and that made him a divider! In the long run, the team suffered because of it.
