Congrats 44InaRow, I've been involved with our Chamber Board over the past years, and the Economic Development Corporation and have enjoyed every minute of it.

Lots more to it than most think, isn't it? We've been without an Exec Director for 7 months.. will be hiring one in a week or two.. thank goodness :)

Gives a whole new meaning to volunteerism!

I have served on the Chamber Board for about 7 years out of the last 12. The one year when I was Chairman, our Executive Director left us and is now leading the Kerrville Chamber. Keeping a chamber going through those transitions is tough, to say the least. Sounds like relief is in sight for you though. :D

I wouldn't trade my days with the Chamber for anything...enjoy it!
