Does anybody on here fish Gibbons Creek? A friend of mine wants to go check it out. Says this time of year is great fishing since it's a power plant lake. It would take me about 2 hours to get there. Is it worth the drive? I can also get to Rayburn in 2 hours, so let me know if you've fished Gibbons and what you think of it.

I enjoy it... we go fairly often. We always jig fish it and usually catch a bunch. If you hit it at the right time you can limit out. I've seen it when ppl have limited out took them home came back and limited out again. It well worth it.
