guys that drafted Aaron Rodgers as the heir apparent to Favre so don't expect Carr to go there...keep trying though...

the minimal salary of Henson ($230,000 in 2004) vs the 1st Round contract of Rodgers. Henson is making league minimum every year where as Rodgers gets the league minimum plus a few million in "bonuses."

The Packers signed Rodgers to a five-year contract on July 30, 2005. According to the Green Bay Press-Gazette, Rodgers received a $1.5 million signing bonus and $620,000 roster bonus in 2005, and will get a $3.01 million option bonus in 2006. His base salary is $230,000 in '05 and $310,000 in '06. If he is the Packers' full-time starter from 2006 through 2009, he will add $8.25 million to his salaries from 2007 through 2009. If he is the full-time starter in 2007 through 2009, add $5.25 million to his salaries; and if Rodgers doesn't become the starter until 2008, he'll add $2.2 million to his salary.

Drew henson is just another reason that I think Jerry Jones is an idiot.

Why? he traded for like a 5th round pick or something. IT was a gamble. Still not sure if it will pay off or not, but I would not call it a bad decision.
